Food & Wine Strategy Consultant Shirinda P. Pulluru joins the jury of IGCAT’s World Food Gift Challenge 2026.
Her career spans fourteen years across food, beverage, and wine in India, the Gulf, East Africa, and Southern Europe. It began at Amul, one of Asia’s largest dairy cooperatives, in production and supply chain, and evolved through managing multi-brand food and beverage operations, expanding products into international markets, and developing spirits and food production facilities.
More recent projects include working with tribal coffee growers in India’s Araku Valley to strengthen brand and commercial visibility, advising a Cypriot winery through its biodynamic transition, and contributing to the early-stage restoration of Casa de São Jorge in Portugal’s Douro region as a cultural and enotourism site. She also works as a Communications Consultant with IGCAT, supporting research, storytelling, and the development of best practices across the network of Regions of Gastronomy.
With extensive experience across global food systems and cultural contexts, Shirinda brings a considered perspective on how food gifts can reflect heritage, support producers, and communicate the identity of a place through thoughtful and well-positioned products.
